The 2019 Women’s Executive Network Symposium at Royal Canadian Pacific
The WX (women’s executive) network hosted their 2019 Symposium at the Royal Canadian Pacific in the Ogden area of Calgary. For the event their keynote speaker was Calgary’s own Dragon’s Den dragon Manjit Minhas. She was speaking about how women can stand out, be recognized and achieve success in male-dominated industries. Manjit is the co-founder and CEO at Minhas Breweries, Distilleries and Wineries as well as being a Dragon on CBC Dragons’ Den, a Philanthropist and a two time winner of the Top 100 Award for women under the age of 40.

Manjit and her brother Ravinder launched their business when she was just 19 years old. Today their company Minhas Breweries is the ninth-largest brewer in the world with over 90 brands of beers, spirits, liqueurs and wines that are sold internationally. She has built her business with a focus on social responsibility and sustainability. Personally she donates her time and money to organizations that benefit youth and help educate girls focusing on the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

An online gallery of the images will be available once they are finished for the next 90 days. If you click on the link below you will be able to sign up to receive an email notification once the photos are ready. The online gallery is secure so you will need to contact your event coordinators for the gallery password.
From the online gallery, you are able to download a free copy of the images, tag your favourite images, order prints and share the gallery with your family and friends. Photos are typically ready 10 to 14 days after an event.
